About Me
Hello and welcome to my patch of blogland! I’m Zyle, otherwise known as Ally in the Real World. Nice to meet you! I have been living happily together with my boyfriend Peter for the past 4 years after a long distance relationship which began in 2000! Our beautiful kitty cat Zara joined the family at the end of 2007.
I love to knit and crochet, and together Peter and I host and maintain the Phoenix Knitting Forums, an amazing community of truly wonderful friends. I’ve been knitting for just over two years now and crocheting for about 6 months. I’m also a self confessed geek gamer. I love my videogames, Peter and I even met in an online game back in 2000. We have been running a gaming guild since 2002 called Nemo Nisi Mors, which has become a close group of friends. We’ve played many games over the years, most notably Ultima Online, World of Warcraft and Lord of the Rings Online. I also love sci-fi; we can regularly be found watching shows like Babylon 5, Stargate SG1, Star Trek and Battlestar Galcatica.
In Real Life, I am a Paid Search Professional working for a Search Marketing agency. I’m currently in charge of several large global ppc accounts, specialing in international ppc campaign optimisation.
